Ella bows after performing at her very first violin recital while her teacher, Mr. Gary, looks on.
She did a fabulous job playing the "Mississippi Stop Stop" rhythm on open A and E strings. And to make things even more special, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Beau just happened to be in town for one day only on an extended layover while traveling home from London and were able to be there for the big event. Ella was extremely proud of herself, as were her parents (of course). She has already informed me that she is planning to take piano and guitar lessons someday too. I don't think she quite realizes that three instruments means three times as much practicing.
