I repeat, the Tara photos have landed! I got a link to our slideshow today and tried to narrow it down to just a few favorites to share. Does 13 count as a few? Probably not. Trust me though, there were a lot more I could have shared but I had to stop somewhere. After such a rough week last week, seeing these pictures sure did put a smile on my face.
I will admit that when we were taking this last photo, I was so disappointed about that pacifier in Ella's mouth. This was one of the last photos taken after we had been with Tara for over 2 hours and Ella was so over the whole experience. She was beyond exhausted and was not a happy camper at all. She cried when you picked her up, cried when you put her down, and was just plain tired and unhappy. So I went with the last resort - the pacifier. I thought maybe I could pull it out at the last second as Tara was pressing the shutter, but Ella had a kung fu grip on that thing and there was no way she was letting go. And so I have this lovely photo of us as a family in front of the Golden Gate Bridge with the pacifier right in the middle of it. But darn it if Tara didn't manage to make this photo look fabulous even with that purple pacifier!
