I told Ella that the Easter Bunny would come to our house while we were at church this morning and that her basket would be waiting for her when we got home. On the drive home, just as we were about to turn into the driveway Ella said, "Let's see if the Easter Bunny's car is here!" She didn't quite understand why the bunny wouldn't stick around after dropping off her basket. She is the same way with Santa Claus...the gifts are not enough, she expects some quality bonding time too!
