I bought Ella a new set of crayons today (it had been a while) and we spent part of the afternoon breaking them in. I drew a beach scene and had Ella guess what it was (she didn't get it until the end when I drew a bucket and shovel in the sand). Ella drew rain falling on grass and a rocket ship. I will admit there are many activities Ella asks me to "play" with her that I find tedious, but I always love coloring together.
