The main floor of our home is set up in such a way that there is almost a built in track that the girls love running around (and around and around). Lucy often joins in, which means that more often than not there is a collision when one of the older girls rounds a curve too quickly and runs into her head on.
The running drives Matt crazy (both the noise aspect and the potential for injury aspect) and he is constantly asking them to stop, while they are constantly ignoring his requests. They will make short-lived attempts to obey, but in the end they just can't resist themselves. I personally choose to follow the wisdom of the Serenity Prayer in this matter and "accept the things I cannot change." I know that as long as we live in this house, running around "the track" will just be part of life!
