We were all in the car driving home tonight and Matt pointed out the moon to Ella. The moon kept disappearing behind highway overpasses and trees so she made a game out of trying to find it. When it came into view she would shout things like:
There she is!
She's flying!
Hi moon! You 'kay?
Then when it would disappear again she would say:
Bye bye moon!
Where'd she go?
Let's go get her!
Oh moo-oon!
It's the little stuff like this that just kills me. I want to take all that two-year old cuteness and bottle it up to use during what I have been assured by multiple sources will be the not so cute teenage years!
Oh, and for the record Ella refers to everyone and everything as "she". I can't help but laugh every time Matt walks in the door after work and Ella runs to him yelling, "There she is!" Nope, it doesn't take much to amuse me. Although I'm not quite sure the 6'4", 200+ pound plumber who came to fix the heater in our kitchen was equally as amused when Ella said the same thing to him...
